²¹ “Therefore, it is necessary to choose one of the men who have accompanied us during the entire time that the Lord Jesus lived with us, ²² beginning from his baptism by John until the day when he was taken up from us. For he must become a witness with us of his resurrection.”

²³ And so they nominated two candidates: Joseph called Barsabbas, who was also known as Justus, and Matthias.
